58th reno to sale

A fast-paced renovation on a tight budget to attract the right buyer. It worked!

On Time + On Budget.

This project focused on the ROI. Our homeowner’s intention was to net the most amount of money for his Portland craftsman. We made it happen in under 6 months + ended up with 3 offers over-asking in a down market.

While the house was in rough shape when we started, we prepared it to sell fast — all without breaking the bank. After years without an update, gutting the kitchen and bathroom was a must. We kept the kitchen appliances + the bathroom tub, while anticipating potential issues in order to avoid surprise repair addendums in the sales process. This included some pre-emptive plumbing and electrical replacements, which we navigated with conscious project management + trusted contractor relationships.

The rest was a practice in a ‘less is more.’ We wisely allocated our budget toward beautiful, mid-grade materials + finishes meant to catch the eye of high-end Portland buyers willing to invest in good design. Our choices in lighting, hardware, and tile helped to elevate the interior — but it’s always amazing what a fresh coat of paint can do! By highlighting a few stand-out features in clean, bright colors, we brought light and joy back to this craftsman bungalow. We finished the look with tasteful staging that helped to seal the deal for prospective buyers.
